A seal pup approaches a new stranger after its mother slipped back below the sea ice at the sound of approaching hunters and their teams, leaving it to its fate. A changing climate - which shows itself in warming temperatures, earlier summers, later winters, and shrinking and thinning sea ice - threatens the livelihoods and traditions of some of the last subsistence hunters on Earth, the Polar Inuit communities of far Northwest Greenland.
